Island Weekend Sale – Round 3 Post 1

What’s this?! There is someone else in my photos? This may sound weird coming from a blogger but sometimes I get lonely taking photos of only myself. So today, I dragged my RL husband off of the bed, to his computer desk and into SL. He isn’t in very often, doesn’t like it nearly as much as I do, but he grumbled and did it anyway ’cause I asked nicely. Then my best friend Ellie came over and we all chatted while I did my photos. I didn’t feel so lonely this time!

I have to admit, this shoot was so fun. My hubby needed new swim trunks so I took him shopping (it lasted a whole 2 minutes) at The Sale Room and he got the Dani fatpack of shorts from Totally Wicked for L$399. Then I made him (requested he) wear a pair that matched the set, lol.

If you haven’t been through the Island Weekend Sale yet, it is a new weekend shopping event run by Coco Osiris (cocohantas). It’s a store hop sale and there is an HUD to take you from one stop to the next. Designers have some of their items on sale for 99L and 50% off Fatpacks. The sale starts Fridays at 9:00 AM SLT and ends on Monday at 12:00 AM SLT.

This beach hut, all the chairs, and the buckets (one acts as a table) are from FlyingArts for the sale. The Flamingo Shack has doors and curtains that open and close when touched. The outdoor furniture and decor are the Flamingo Beach Set. Both are also available for Tinies and Dinkies.

My dress is the Silver Shimmer Dress from Ari-Pari. It comes with 15 color options and fits Belleza, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, Reborn and Slink bodies. The heels are the Robyn Shoes from Not Your Barbie are color change as well and fit Belleza, Legacy, Maitreya and Slink feet. I also added Summer Glow nails and eyeshadow from NuNu.
