A Letter to my Sponsors

Over the last couple of months I’ve been doing some serious thinking about my blogging. I have blogged since 2007, but only just restarted consistently again this past December of 2021. It’s been almost a year already! The sponsors who have given me the opportunity to grow and learn and showcase their designs have been invaluable to me. And they have led to paid jobs in world, which is so very helpful for my RL finances.

Now that I have more responsibilities that are making me money, and with me wanting to open my own store some time in the near-ish future, I have discussed with my hubby and we have decided that I need to cut down on my blogging. It is a time consuming job for me because I do more than post a photo on flickr and put the designer’s name in the description. There are some that do that, and that is just fine, but I prefer to do more. I have enjoyed this so very much so far and do not plan to stop blogging any time soon. But…I do need to take a hard look at my list of sponsors and cut back. This has NOT been an easy decision to make.

Over the next few days I will be working on this task. I don’t want to do it. But I need to if I’m going to grow in other areas as well. My plan is to narrow my list down to the designers that really fit my style and also focus on event blogging. I deeply hope that everyone will be understanding and I for sure want everyone to know that I appreciate so much the opportunities they have given to me.

I look forward to continuing to blog as well as start my own store and find my own bloggers some day soon!

Thank you sincerely,
Adalynn
