Back to the 50s

These retro posts are some of my favorites to do. The styling, finding a great location and putting it all together makes me very happy! Today we’re taking a trip back to the American 1950s. A time of bobby socks, diners and sock hops.

Everything I am wearing today is from the Cheeky WOW! Event. I already blog for the Cheeky Monkey Hunts and I figured I would apply for the Cheeky WOW! Event as well and was accepted! Both events are owned by 彡Ｍａｎｄｉｌｅｎａ彡 (mandilena.loxely) and the designers bring some awesome exclusives, some of which I’m going to show you today. FYI, they also offer discounted items and gifts! It runs monthly from the 7th to the 25th.

My adorable dress is from Tigerlily Designs and the fatpack includes 5 texture options. It is fit for Freya, Hourglass, Isis, Legacy, Maitreya and Physique. The dress is L$100 per color or L$400 for the fatpack. I love the 50s vibe it gives!

The shoes I’m wearing also totally add to the 50s vibe. They are from Lindy‘s booth at the event. These are fit for classic avatars, Belleza, Legacy, Maitrey and Slink feet. How cute are they?!

The last shop I am showing from the Cheeky WOW! Event is .lovelysweet., which I have blogged before for other events. She makes lovely eyes and makeup! I was going to wear the eyes for this photo and totally forgot until right now when I’m typing this up, so I’ll be sure to show them in another post. However, my eyeshadow and lipstick are both from her booth.
